* In Pyongyang, General Luong Tam Quang paid a courtesy call on Comrade Jo Yong Won, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of North Korea.
During the meeting, Comrade Jo Yong Won warmly welcomed General Luong Tam Quang to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, affirming that the visit would further deepen the traditional friendship between North Korea and Vietnam in the spirit of the agreement reached at the historic meeting of the two countries' high-level leaders in October 2025 in Pyongyang.
Comrade Jo Yong Won briefed General Luong Tam Quang on the success of the 9th Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea, and congratulated the success of the 14th Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam. He wished the Vietnamese people, under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, headed by General Secretary and President To Lam, to achieve many great accomplishments in implementing the resolutions of the 14th Party Congress.
On behalf of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam, General Luong Tam Quang warmly congratulated the success of the 9th Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea and the great achievements that the Party, State, and people of Korea have attained under the leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea, headed by General Secretary and Chairman of State Kim Jong Un.
The two comrades agreed that following the visit of General Secretary and Chairman of the State Council Kim Jong Un to Vietnam in March 2019 and the visit of General Secretary and President To Lam to North Korea in October 2025, the relations between the two Parties and two countries, Vietnam and North Korea, are entering a new phase of development in all fields.
