Attending the opening ceremony were Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Deputy Minister of Public Security; Mr. Quan Minh Cuong, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Quang Ninh province; members of the Central Party Committee of Public Security; members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ninh province; leaders of provincial departments and agencies; leaders of the Public Security units and localities with participating amateur art troupes; and a large number of people watching the program.
The festival featured the participation of 21 amateur art troupes with approximately 1,000 delegates, including officers, soldiers, and performers from the People's Public Security Academies and Schools, and Public Security units and localities. In addition, the art troupe of the Quang Ninh Provincial Military Command also participated in the festival.
The "80 Years of People's Security - A Glorious Golden Page of History" Mass Art Festival comprises 120 performances focusing on praising the Party, the beloved President Ho Chi Minh, love for the homeland, the glorious traditions of the People's Public Security Force (PPSF) and the People's Security Force (ANND) in the struggle for national liberation, building and protecting the Fatherland, linked to studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style, implementing the Six Teachings of President Ho Chi Minh for the PPSF, the "Three Best" emulation movement, and praising the spirit of solidarity and close ties between the Public Security and Military forces and their close relationship with the people... This is an opportunity for officers, soldiers, artists, and performers to exchange, learn, and broaden cultural exchange between regions, between ministerial agencies and local police forces, and between the PPSF and the People's Army.
The festival also serves as a platform to showcase artistic talent, ignite enthusiasm and passion among individual officers and soldiers in the mass art movement from the Ministry to the grassroots level; creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere, encouraging, motivating, and educating officers and soldiers of the People's Public Security Force to actively strive in their work, cultivate ethics and lifestyle, perfect their character, and contribute to building a truly clean, strong, regular, elite, and modern People's Public Security Force that meets the requirements of the mission in the new situation.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung emphasized that the People's Public Security Force's Mass Art Festival is an activity with profound political and cultural significance, contributing to the dissemination and education of the glorious traditions of the People's Public Security Force over 80 years of building, fighting, and maturing. This is also an opportunity for officers and soldiers throughout the force to showcase their talents and creativity in cultural and artistic activities, thereby strengthening bonds of solidarity, encouraging enthusiastic competition, and successfully completing assigned tasks.
The Deputy Minister requested that the amateur art troupes demonstrate a sense of responsibility, enthusiasm, and passion for art, bringing to the festival unique and distinctive programs and performances that vividly reflect the image of the People's Public Security officers as "courageous, humane, and serving the people," contributing to the overall success of the festival.
Concluding the opening night in a solemn, warm, and emotional atmosphere, the "80 Years of People's Security - Shining Brightly in Golden History" amateur art festival promises to continue to bring many outstanding programs, strongly spreading the fine traditional values of the People's Security force. This contributes to fostering pride, strengthening political resolve, and instilling a sense of responsibility in each officer and soldier in the cause of protecting national security, maintaining social order and safety, and ensuring a peaceful and happy life for the people.
