A general overview of the working session.

Reporting on the results of the 2026 police recruitment process, a representative from the Training Department of the Ministry of Public Security stated: To date, the key tasks outlined in Plan No. 144 dated March 3, 2026, of the Ministry of Public Security regarding the organization and implementation of the 2026 regular recruitment of new police officers have been implemented seriously, synchronously, and on schedule. The system of guiding documents for recruitment has been fully issued; preliminary selection, application processing, data management, exam preparation, and exam organization have been implemented uniformly throughout the entire force.

The recruitment pool continues to remain high, with over 22,300 candidates registering for admission to police academies and schools, an increase compared to 2025 and 2024, despite a decrease in recruitment quotas. This demonstrates the continued attractiveness of police academies and schools. The quality and competitiveness of recruitment sources are constantly improving, creating favorable conditions for selecting high-quality human resources to serve the task of building the People's Public Security Force in the new situation.

The preparation for the 2026 Ministry of Public Security's assessment exam is basically on schedule. The necessary conditions regarding infrastructure, human resources, information technology, logistics, medical services, and security plans have been proactively prepared by the police academies, schools, and related units; ready to implement tasks to support the organization of the 2026 Ministry of Public Security's assessment exam, scheduled for June 21, 2026.

Digital transformation tasks in recruitment, testing, and training management are being actively and synchronously implemented, from communication and preliminary selection to managing recruitment data, supporting candidates, and organizing the exam. The deployment of a shared admissions software, the application of biometrics in identifying exam candidates, the Public Security recruitment chatbot, and the preparation for organizing a computer-based assessment exam for new second-degree program candidates have gradually formed a digital platform to serve the Public Security recruitment process; creating an important foundation for the modernization of education, training, and testing in the Public Security force in the future…
