Reporting on the results of the 2026 police recruitment process, a representative from the Training Department of the Ministry of Public Security stated: To date, the key tasks outlined in Plan No. 144 dated March 3, 2026, of the Ministry of Public Security regarding the organization and implementation of the 2026 regular recruitment of new police officers have been implemented seriously, synchronously, and on schedule. The system of guiding documents for recruitment has been fully issued; preliminary selection, application processing, data management, exam preparation, and exam organization have been implemented uniformly throughout the entire force.
The recruitment pool continues to remain high, with over 22,300 candidates registering for admission to police academies and schools, an increase compared to 2025 and 2024, despite a decrease in recruitment quotas. The necessary conditions regarding infrastructure, human resources, information technology, logistics, medical services, and security plans have been proactively prepared by the police academies, schools, and related units; ready to implement tasks to support the organization of the 2026 Ministry of Public Security's assessment exam, scheduled for June 21, 2026.
Digital transformation tasks in recruitment, testing, and training management are being actively and synchronously implemented, from communication and preliminary selection to managing recruitment data, supporting candidates, and organizing the exam.
